The Destroyit 4606 features an open-tilt feed hopper for shredding crumpled paper. A feeding paddle keeps the crumpled paper moving in a steady flow into the cutting head. For flat paper and printouts, there's a second feed opening under the hopper that features an auto start/stop via light sensor.

The EasySwitch controls provide an intelligent multifeature operation that shows the current status via color codes and back-lit symbols for easy reading. Electronic control prevents over feeding, and auto-reverses and re-feeds in case there is a paper jam. A foldaway feeding table provides a great surface to feed in sheets, and tucks away when not in use.

In addition to the main switch, there is an emergency cutoff switch for extra safety. The 4606 features robust shredding heads with special hardened cutting shafts made of high quality steel, which are resistant against soft metal objects. Forget manual oiling, this Destroyit shredder has automatic oil injection on the cutting shafts which flow during shredding operation for constant high shred performance.

Save power with the automatic standby (starts after 30 minutes of inactivity). The 7-1/3 HP powerful three phase motor comes with thermal motor protection. Dispose of the shredded paper with ease via the front door using the mobile shred bin for easy removal of the full shred bag. The 61 gallon high volume container stores plenty of shredded material, and moves around on caster wheels. Cleaning is a breeze with the tilting hopper, and automatic stop keeps you safe when the hopper or front door is opened, or when the shred bin is full.
