There are two kinds of Velobind machines. The hot knife systems are the most popular due to their heat-fused secure & permanent binding style. The Hot Knife Velobind Machines can bind documents that are 8.5", 11", or 14" (9, 11, or 14 Pin Velobind) on the binding side, making them a great solution for law, accounting, and government offices. The other style is reclosable 4 pin Velobinds that produce editable bound documents.

Velobind Machines are also known as SecureBind machines since they don't allow a book to lay open, which means sensitive data is kept safe from prying eyes. Another reason many offices choose Velobind Machines is their ability to bind books that are up to 3" thick (about 750 sheets!).
