Formax Wire100 Manual Wire Binding System
The Formax Wire100 is a heavy-duty, compact manual wire binding system designed for professional booklet finishing. Its modular design allows it to be paired with the Punch100 for a complete punching and binding workflow, or configured for stand-alone use with the optional support stand.
The Wire100 is adjustable for both 2:1 and 3:1 pitch wire binding and features simple, tool-free setup. A low-pressure lever provides smooth manual binding operation, while the integrated wire comb holding station helps make loading punched pages onto the wire quick and convenient.
The system accommodates wire binding diameters from 1/4" to 1-1/2" and binding widths up to 14". Wire-bound documents open a full 360 degrees and lay flat for convenient reading, writing, scanning, and presentations.

The Wire100 is adjustable for both 2:1 and 3:1 pitch binding, allowing operators to produce professionally finished wire-bound booklets in either format. The 2:1 pitch configuration offers greater versatility for larger wire diameters, accommodating wire from 1/4" to 1-1/2" and booklets up to 340 sheets.
Easy-Loading Wire Holder
An integrated wire holding station features convenient fingers that help hold the wire in position while punched pages are loaded. This simplifies paper loading prior to closing the wire binding.
Simple Manual Wire Closing
The Wire100 uses low-pressure lever activation for manual binding. A simple closure control adjustment allows the system to be set for the selected wire size, while smooth, quiet operation supports an efficient booklet finishing workflow.
Modular Punching and Binding
For a combined punching and binding system, the Wire100 can be attached to the front of the Punch100 using the integrated mounting pins. This creates a streamlined workflow for punching documents and completing wire binding from a combined system.
Stand-Alone Operation
The Wire100 can also be used independently as a stand-alone wire binding system. Stand-alone use requires the optional Punch100-30 Support Stand.
ReadyWire Double-Loop Binding Supplies
Formax ReadyWire Double-Loop binding supplies are packaged in patented wire sheets designed to keep the wire organized, undamaged, and easy to remove. ReadyWire supplies are available in diameters from 1/4" to 1-1/2", are thicker than industry standard, and are designed to close in a perfect circle.
