The Akiles WireMac-E is an Electric Wire-O binding machine with a manual wire closer. The WireMac E is built to be a heavy duty, all-in-one wire binding system. Available in either 3:1 or 2:1 Pitch, you will be binding professional looking documents in no time. The super duty electric motor is designed for high volume Wire-O binding. This Akiles Wire-O book binder is built for many years of heavy use. Prepare your documents quickly with the electric punch, and then bind them with the easy-to-use wire closer.

The difference between 3:1 and 2:1 Twin Loop Wire-O is that 3:1 wire is designed for smaller size books, and has 3 holes per inch; while 2:1 wire is designed for larger books and has 2 holes per inch. If you are looking to bind books that are smaller than 100 pages, 3:1 is perfect for you. If you are looking to bind books up to around 250 pages, then 2:1 would be the better choice. 2:1 wire is available in smaller sizes (all the way down to 1/4"), so if you are mostly binding large books but occasionally need to do smaller books, we recommend the 2:1 machine.

The Akiles Wire Mac-E is an open ended punch, which allows for binding larger books. If you are binding larger books (over 11" on the binding side), don't forget to order your larger wire!
