To ensure you get the right size wire binds for your book, follow these steps: First stack all the book contents and covers together, and then measure how thick it is with a ruler. Then use the next wire size up and you'll be all set!
The difference between 3:1 & 2:1 pitch wire is how many loops per inch their are. While 2:1 binds are available in all wire sizes, you may prefer 3:1 for your small & medium size books for a better look.
