How To Bypass "Setup Error" in HP Refurbished Printers

1. On the control panel, touch the Home and Back buttons in this sequence:
   1. Home button once
   2. Back button twice
   3. Home button once
2. Open the ink cartridge access door, and then close it. A Load Paper message displays on the control panel display, and the printer begins initializing.
3. If the initialization does not begin, repeat steps a and b until the initialization begins.
4. Follow the prompts on the control panel display to complete initialization.

Another Option to Bypass the Setup Error:

1. Press the "Back/Return" arrow 4 times (even if it is not lit up)
2. This brings you do the "Support Menu"
3. Use arrows to scroll to "System Configuration Menu"
4. Select "Trade at OOBE"
5. Press "OK" to enable
6. Press "x" to exit out of menu screen
7. Turn off printer and then power back on
