Skyline Return Policy

Return Policy for Machine, Supply, & Parts Purchases.

We offer easy returns within 30 days of your original purchase.

To return an item:

  1. Please contact us to get a Return Authorization (RA) Number. All returns need the RA # referenced on the shipping label to be accepted (please do not write the number on the box/packaging itself)
  2. We will provide the return address & info via email.
  3. Ensure item is securely boxed & taped so it ships intact.

Notes for Returns:

  • Supply type items need to be unused and in resalable condition.
  • Machines & equipment need to be in the original box and in resalable condition.
  • Certain items may be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Custom items, most electrical machine parts, and special-made products are non-returnable.

Defective/Damaged/Incorrect Items:

If you receive defective, damaged, or not as ordered items, Skyline will email a complimentary return label to be used for shipping the product back. Please contact us within 30 days of the order date to be eligible for refund/exchange. For returns where the items were as ordered, you'll need to get a shipping label to return them to us.

Please Note: Before replacements and/or refunds are processed on machines/equipment, the returned items are evaluated by Skyline's service department. This evaluation is to determine whether the problem is due to a manufacturing defect or operator abuse. If deemed a manufacturing defect, the return and/or exchange will be processed. If deemed operator abuse, we will contact you with a service/repair quote.

Common carrier damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and concealed damage must be reported to Skyline Communications Customer Service within 24 hrs. of receipt of delivery. All returns will be for repair or exchange only depending on the type of damage or defect. Purchaser is responsible for return shipping and handling charges. Machines under warranty must be shipped to the manufacturer. When the repaired or exchanged item is shipped back to the purchaser it is at no cost.

Returns and/or exchanges are not able to be accepted if merchandise has been used or if original boxes are marked, written on, damaged or have stickers on them. Please allow up to 30 days to process refunds.

 


Custom Goods & Projects Satisfaction Guarantee & Return Policy

Custom Products Satisfaction Guarantee:

We want you to enjoy your custom items, and we work with you during the quoting, design, and proofing process. We're always ready to answer any questions and help before, during, and after the production process to get you what you need.

Custom Products Warranty:

All Custom Products are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use for a period of 30 days from date of purchase. If any item that is claimed to be defective within this time, we will repair or replace the product or component if it is determined that the defect existed at the time of manufacture or developed under normal use.

Returns & Exchanges:

No returns or exchanges can be accepted if the merchandise was custom produced, including custom size, custom color, custom printed or custom built supplies or equipment. If there is a production quality/warranty type issue, we'll gladly repair or replace as described under the Warranty section above.

MBM Parts Warranty & Return Information

Limited Warranty Coverage

  1. All MBM parts carry a 30-day limited warranty.
  2. Coverage warrants the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and material under normal use during the 30-day period.
    • A defective covered part will be replaced with the same part or substantially similar.
    • Warranty is void if part has been misused, damaged by negligence or altered by anyone other than a Skyline/MBM agent.
  3. Costs incurred for shipping of defective part during warranty period will be covered by Skyline.
    • All shipping costs including returning defective parts to Skyline and sending a replacement for that warranty part will be the responsibility of Skyline.

MBM Parts Return Policy

Returns cannot be accepted without an RMA number.

  1. Non-electrical parts/Mechanical parts:
    • New, unused non electrical parts are fully returnable up to 30 days after customer's receipt of initial delivery.
    • All non-electrical parts must be in good condition to receive a refund or exchange.
    • Customer is responsible for cost of return shipping to Skyline plus a 20% restocking/processing fee.
    • All shipping costs for an exchanged part to Skyline and sending the replacement for that exchanged part back to the customer is the responsibility of the customer.
  2. Electrical parts:
    • New, unused electrical parts may be exchanged for the same part or substantially similar part within 30 days of customer's receipt of initial delivery. Skyline will not make any refunds for electrical parts.
    • No refunds or exchanges will be given for used electrical parts.
    • Customer is responsible for cost of return shipping to Skyline plus a 20% restocking/processing fee.
    • All shipping costs for an exchanged part to Skyline and sending the replacement for that exchanged part back to the customer is the responsibility of the customer
  3. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is required from Skyline Book Binding for all returns or exchanges and must accompany any returned part(s). Returned parts without an RMA number will not be accepted. * To obtain a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) please contact 1-866-455-9900
  4. Any damage to parts due to shipping should be reported immediately to the shipping company. Skyline Book Binding is not responsible for parts broken during shipping.
  5. If a parts order is cancelled after it has been shipped to the customer and it is still in transit, the customer must pay all applicable freight charges and restocking/processing fees. Parts must be returned back to Skyline at customer's expense before a credit is issued.

 


GBC Parts Warranty & Return Policy
